Prince Harry shrieks in fear in surprise talk show cameo

Prince Harry is no stranger to the old talkshow cameo – but the Duke of Sussex is anything but ordinary in how he goes about things.
Namely, when appearing on the Thursday, September 26 (Friday in Australia) episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, it wasn’t for a typical sit-down interview.
No, it was to travel through a haunted maze with Jimmy Fallon in a three-minute segment that saw both the royal and television host screaming, swearing and grabbing each other in fear.

Filmed while the 40-year-old former senior working royal was in New York City earlier this week, Harry and Fallon ventured through Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares, a haunted maze created by Fallon that’s located at the Rockefeller Centre.
”Brace yourself for 10 spine-chilling rooms that bring Jimmy’s worst nightmares to life with sinister characters and scares around every corner,” the maze is described on The Tonight Show’s YouTube page. “Enter if you dare!”
In a video of the segment, Harry can be seen telling Fallon, “You look great in glasses,” as they both watched a video of Fallon holding a dog.

As Fallon responds “Thank you” to Harry, the other Fallon’s eyes shift and a static noise plays, leaving Harry alarmed.
Shadows then appear on the other side of the door, with a zombie bursting through it and startling Harry, who grabs onto Fallon’s chest in surprise.
”That actually got me,” Fallon tells the duke, who had screamed out in fear, before the duo move on to get scared by a wolverine and a band.

When the scary band realise just who, exactly, they’re giving a fright, they actually break character – and the video ends with one of the bandmembers fanning herself in awe of Harry’s presence and laughing in shock.
Harry had spent a packed three days in New York City, attending a variety of engagements related to the causes he supports, including The Diana Award, The HALO Trust, African Parks, Lesotho, The Clinton Global Initiative and Travalyst.
He wasn’t the only royal in The Big Apple that week, with Harry joining Belgium’s Queen Mathilde for a World Health Organisation dinner focused on violence against children and the impact it has on mental health.
Harry’s wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, 43, and their two children – five-year-old Prince Archie and three-year-old Princess Lilibet – stayed at home in Montecito, California.
